Batiste Dry Shampoo ♥

I've used this twice now, the first time was a complete disaster! I think i used way too much, i still had powder coming out of my hair no matter how much i tried to brush it out. The second time was this morning and it went a little better, although after using this and then straightening my hair it seems to leave my hair feeling really dry like i might have done some damage to it with the heat, even though i used a heat protector. Also I'm not too keen on the smell of this. What is your favourite Batiste scent? I think i might try the tropical one next if i carry on using this product..

The reason i bought this was so that i could try to stop washing my hair everyday but i feel like I'm doing more damage to my hair using this product and then straightening my hair and i can't not straighten my hair or it just looks really bleugh!

I'm unsure of what to do now.. Has anyone else had the problem of their hair feeling too dry after using this and then straightening? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks for reading,
Charlotte. xx

I have the tropical one and I really like it, its no substitute for washing my hair but it definitely makes it look nicer in between washes. I simply spray on a little bit, rub in until it disappears then spray more if necessary x

I only wash my hair every other day. On the days its not washed, I flat iron it straight or do an up do. I don't bother with dry shampoos, and my hair seems fine. Maybe you can skip doing anything to your hair on alternative days?

Hi pretty,

Try straightening your hair once you wash it, and then the next day, if it does look oily use the dry shampoo or simply do a ponytail and put a hair band on!

I agree - washing your hair every day is not good for it. It actually makes your hair even oilier. I used to that but then I stopped - and now my hair is normal.

Hope I helped!

Yeah, thats why i wanted to try the dry shampoo because if i don't wash my hair it looks super oily.. I never usually wear my hair up, i don't think i suit it but i guess it gives me a reason to try something new..

I like the boho one, one or the one you can get for different haircolours, if I know I don't have time to wash my hair in the morning I spray it on before I go to bed and when I wake up it has absorbed the oil.xx

Hmm. this was pretty useful! I've been wondering how dry shampoo works and weather I should ever try it .. it doesn't make sense to me. the way you can just put powder or something in your hair and it gets clean? cool invention, though :D

The powder is suposed to soak up the oil that is in your hair and then you brush it out, it doesn't really clean your hair but it makes it look less oily. :)
