Makeup Collection - Blush ♥

Wow, i feel like i haven't blogged for ages! So I've done my eyeshadow collection, now onto my blushes. Blushes seem to last me for ages, but i just can't help myself from buying more and then i very rarely use some of them. I'm thinking i need to do a sort of project 10 pan kind of thing with my blushes so that i actually use some of them up!

Top row, left to right: Pure Blush in Peach, Pure Blush in Pink Shimmer, E.l.f Contouring Blush in Blushed, Revlon Matte Blush in Perfectly Peach.
Bottom row: dVb Blush in Enchanting, Sleek Blush in Pixie Pink, MAC Mineralize Blush in Dainty, MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Springsheen.

Anything that you'd like a review on?

I think I'm going to do my lipstick or lip gloss collection next, what do you think?

Thanks for reading, commenting, and following! :)

How do you like the Revlon matte? I've been eyeing it for a while now but like you I have an abundance of blushers and rarely use most of them so I try to be good about buying new ones!

Cosmetics are clearly unnecessary and are produced by a massive and wasteful industry. We can choose to change our cultural values. After all, Natural is Green.

@Canada Guy: Cosmetics are 100% necessary! lol.. random comment, we blog about cosmetics cause we love cosmetics and i don't think your going to even make a dent in trying to change that.

@Deanna: The Revlon Matte is okay. I don't really use it that often, i wouldn't say its a must have.

Hey xcharleym0ox, that's cool, a lot of people love other things too. Seriously though, with the threat of global warming, would you rather give up food, shelter, water, or other essentials, or would cosmetics be on the top of your list?

So long as we are, relatively, rich, it doesn't matter. But in a global situation where our lives, and especially third world lives, are literally at stake, is this even an important argument? What it comes down to is, what are your priorities?

Thanks.

Lovely collection babe.

@ Canadian Guy - I think its you that needs to get your priorities right. Theres far more worse things going on in the world to worry about cosmetics. I honestly think your one man army of going around commenting on Beauty Blogs is getting you nowhere. Maybe you should focus your attention on something more harmfull to the environment?

Cosmetics till we die!!!!!! haha.

Great collection!

Canada Guy - Why did you come on a beauty blog just to preach when you know it will fall on death ears? As Jo says there are more important things affecting the climate change than cosmetics.

Hi Jo and Jen.

I've been writing for three months on my blog about serious issues involving the environment and climate change. I have only now started to discuss cosmestics. You're absolutely right there are much more serious issues to deal with.

Still, though, once we get down to the wire, what are we willing to give up? Look at the struggles we went through in WW2 (where women were a big factor, by the way). I'm focusing on the smallest, and least significant sacrifices possible. Would you rather give up your car (personal travel by car was banned in WW2) or work on a farm for the war effort? I am proposing ways to reduce emissions that have the least effect on people. If you have other suggestions, please let me know.

How the hell are cosmetics contributing to global warming anyway, shouldn't we be concentrating on making sure we turn all our appliances off and unplug them when we're not using them like the tv says lol and driving a mile less everyday.. Not that people are doing much driving around here anyway were pretty much snowed in. i don't see how cosmetics can make much of a contribution to global warming.

Anyway enough, this is a beauty blog not a global warming discussion blog.. Go annoy someone else.. Or even better stop bothering the beauty communinty altogether.
