Foundation Rambleings..

Okay so my first official blog about something a little more interesting lol.. yes I'm going to talk about foundation, especially foundation in the summer time.

So.. Most of you girlie's will all be wearing lighter foundations now that summer is here, its time to get the tinted moisturizers out.. Well you lucky people because i cannot do this! If i even try to wear a tinted moisturizer in the summer its just going to melt off my face when i get hot. So instead of reaching for the tinted moisturizer I've been on the search for a good long wear foundation because these things are designed to stay on your face even when you get hot and sweaty, so let me fill you in on what I've tried so far:

Revlon Colourstay foundation - This i thought was the perfect solution, the colour was perfect, it didn't make me oily, and most importantly it stayed on my face BUT it broke me out, and gave me those nasty little flesh coloured bumps on my chin which makes me think i might be allergic to something in it?

Loreal Paris Infallible Foundation - I did not like this at all, the formula was thick, it felt thick on my face, it made me oily, and then when my face would get oily if i touched that area it would come right off.. Not good!

Maybelline Superstay Silky Foundation: I've only been using this for a few days but so far i like it, it doesn't make me too oily (a little shine at the end of the day), it stays on my face, no bumps or breakouts. The only problem i have with this is that its a little dark but that's okay since its summer time and I'm going to be getting a little darker.

So, there is a purpose to this post.. I want to know if anyone has any suggestions for a good long wear foundation, and I'm willing to pay for a higher brand up to about £20 but i don't really want to spend more than that, something that won't make me oily (i have an oily t-zone), and something that is good for sensitive skin and won't break me out.. So if anyone is reading this, i know its only my second post and i really doubt anyone has stumbled across this yet but i can try can't i? :)

Thanks for reading.

I haven't tried that many foundations but I really like Urban Decay Surreal Skin Mineral Powder. Coverage is buildable, and it looks really natural even up close :).
